The “Book of Hutsuls” will be delivered from Tallinn to Vilnius

On October 3rd at the Estonian National Library, the Estonian Minister of Culture Urve Tiidus handed over to the Lithuanian Embassy in Estonia The „Book of Hutsuls“ in connection to the opening of exhibition „Hutsuls – an unique culture“ about the Ukrainian ethnic group inhabiting in the Carpathian mountains.

The aim of the book is to introduce the Hutsuls, their characteristics and culture. "Book of Hutsuls" consists of poems and illustrations about them. The book is made in Ukrainian Culture Centre in Tallinn on hand-made paper.

30 units of these books will be distributed to the biggest libraries in the world. The Embassy will deliver a copy of the book received in Tallinn to the Martynas Mažvydas National Library of Lithuania.
